Install and connect.
DroidTrakr runs as a native Windows companion beside Fortnite. The launcher checks for updates and starts the overlay.
Windows 10 or 1164-bit desktop Windows.

Windows SmartScreen: Version 1.0 is currently unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Verify the SHA-256 checksum before running it. Do not disable Windows security.

Hotkeys work globally while the overlay is running. Every binding can be changed under Settings → Hotkeys.

Quick fixes.
The overlay does not appear
Set Fortnite to Windowed Fullscreen, connect the overlay, then use Open DroidTrakr from the tray icon.
Timers are hidden
Open Settings and enable Spawn timer HUD under Visible Elements. F9 only minimizes or restores the Droid area.
Progress is not syncing
Confirm you are online and signed into the same DroidTrakr account used on the website.
The app is behind Fortnite
Exclusive Fullscreen hides the overlay. Switch Fortnite to Windowed Fullscreen and reopen DroidTrakr.
An update fails
Close the overlay, run the launcher again, and ensure Windows Security has not quarantined the package.
A hotkey does not work
Check its current binding in Settings, try the Fn key if required, and make sure another app has not registered the same key.
FAQ.
Does DroidTrakr automate Fortnite?
No. It displays tracker information and accepts your checklist, search, deal-report, and chat input. It does not control Fortnite or automate gameplay.
Does the overlay modify Fortnite files?
It does not change Fortnite binaries or gameplay files. If Exclusive Fullscreen is detected, DroidTrakr can offer to update Fortnite’s GameUserSettings.ini to Windowed Fullscreen. It asks first and creates a backup before changing that display setting.
Can I use the website and overlay together?
Yes. Both use the same DroidTrakr account, and tracker progress synchronizes between them.
Can I change the hotkeys?
Yes. Open Settings and use the Hotkeys section. All five actions are configurable, and duplicate bindings are rejected.
What happens if I save my login?
The saved account name and password are encrypted with Windows DPAPI for the current Windows user. DroidTrakr still opens on the login screen and requires you to select Connect Overlay.
Do I need to reinstall for every update?
No. Open the launcher. It checks the release manifest and installs newer verified packages automatically.
Why does Windows show an unknown publisher?
The current Version 1.0 build is unsigned. Check the published SHA-256 value before running the launcher.
